Founder & PresidentA licensed clinical social worker by profession, Catherine felt God's leading to set up OFA after a mission's trip to Africa in 2005. Her vision is to see God help orphans all over the continent.
Dorothy "Dottie" Glading, B.A.
Board ChairpersonA retired telecommunications manager, God has placed a burden on Dottie's heart for Africa's hurting orphans. She has traveled widely with her church's mission team, sharing the gospel in six countries.
Etmonia Benjamin, B.A.
TreasurerA native of Liberia forced to flee her homeland because of war, Etmonia is a cost accountant with the Boeing company. She has a heart for the suffering orphaned children of Africa's continent.
Janet Whited, B.A.
SecretaryA Recycling Supervisor for San Diego Unified School District, Janet has also worked with crisis pregnancy centers. As an adopted child herself, she has a profound sense of God's love for all kids.
Miriam Ngundi, B.Sc., M.S., Ph.D.
Board MemberBorn and raised in Kenya, Miriam is a research-regulatory scientist with the US Food and Drug Administration. She has a compassion for needy and hurting people, and OFA has given her an opportunity to serve them.
